Apple has been crowned the world's most valuable brand by global brand agency Millward Brown.
Ending Googles 4 year reign at the top spot, Apple are now worth an estimated $153 billion (£93 billion).
Peter Walshe (Millward Brown global brands director) said:
'It is really the iPad that has driven Apple's growing brand value, although the iPhone has continued to do magnificently too, and the development of apps. Apple is breaking the rules in terms of its pricing model. It's doing what luxury brands do, where the higher price the brand is, the more it seems to underpin and reinforce the desire. Obviously, it has to be allied to great products and a great experience, and Apple has nurtured that.'
The top 10 was dominated by technology and telecoms companies with Google, IBM, Microsoft, AT&T, China Mobile and General Electric all placing on the list.
