Sotheby’s have announced that they’ll be auctioning off a rare Apple 1 computer on June 15th in New York, USA.
The auction also includes the original operations manuals for the Apple 1 and is expected to be sold somewhere in the region of $120,000 - $180,000, a considerable amount more than it’s original $666.66 price tag.
Originally hand made by Steve Jobs and Steve Wozniak in 1976, The Apple 1 came with 4KB of memory and only 200, out of those 200, only 6 are still in working order. The one up for auction is one of those 6.
Steve Wozniak will also be present at the auction.
