Available now on the Mac App Store for £13.99, Apples latest operating system has sold over 3 million copies and comes with over 200 new features.

Some of the new features included will be familiar to anyone who has used Apples iOS mobile operating system as Game Center, Notification Center and iMessage make their debut on the Mac.

Social networking fans will also be pleased to see that Twitter integration has been added with Facebook integration coming later this year. A new sharing button has also been added where users can send links from Safari and post straight to popular social networking sites.

To download Mountain Lion, users will need OS X 10.6.8 or later, 2GB of memory and 8GB of available space.
