Following on from the release of the iPhone 5 last month, Apple have sent invites out to the worlds media for an event to be held at the California Theater in San Jose (About 15 minutes away from Apple headquarters in Cupertino).

If internet rumours are true, the event is expected to be for the launch of the iPad mini. Not much is known about the device, although reports suggest that the device will have an 8-inch display and will be seen as a direct rival to other popular tablet devices such as Amazons Kindle Fire and Microsofts Surface for Windows RT.

Also rumoured for the event, are updates to Apple’s popular MacBook Pro, Mac Mini and iMac range of computers.
